This photo was taken while on our trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast -- this late day thunderstorm was blowing toward us, lightning and all. Here is the calm before the storm juxtaposed against the damaged piers from Katrina and others.
Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens at 17mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1/100s. Lightroom curves adjustment, color balancing.
